Boiler steel pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe. The manufacturing method is the same as that of seamless steel pipe, but there are strict requirements on the steel type used to manufacture steel pipe. According to the use temperature, it is divided into general boiler steel pipe and high-pressure boiler steel pipe.

The mechanical properties of boiler steel pipe are important indicators to ensure the final use performance (mechanical properties) of steel, which depends on the chemical composition and heat treatment system of steel. In the steel pipe standard, according to different use requirements, tensile properties (tensile strength, yield strength or yield point, elongation) and hardness, toughness indicators, as well as high and low-temperature properties required by users are specified.

① The use temperature of general boiler steel pipe is below 350℃, and domestic pipes are mainly made of No. 10 and No. 20 carbon steel hot-rolled pipes or cold-drawn pipes.

② High-pressure boiler steel pipes are often in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions when used. Under the action of high-temperature flue gas and water vapor, the steel pipe will oxidize and corrode. The steel pipe is required to have high lasting strength, high anti-oxidation and corrosion performance, and good organizational stability.
